Deal of the Day (October 7): Last Day of Prime Big Deal Days — 1kWh LiFePO4 Power Station

It's the last day of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days (October 6–7), and your feed has been full of "power station deals" for two days. Yesterday's counter-pick was the 60W foldable panel — start with the panel. Today's pick is the other half of that system: a station worth actually buying. The 1000W / 1024Wh LiFePO4 Portable Power Station — $399.99.

Why this one

Three things decide whether a power station is a deal or a doorstop: the battery chemistry, the honest watt-hour rating, and whether you can recharge it from the sun. This unit is LiFePO4 — the chemistry that lasts ~10 years instead of ~3 — with a full kilowatt-hour of storage, 1000W of continuous output (2000W surge), and solar recharge so it keeps working after the first outage, not just during it.

Here's the honest math most sale pages skip: 1024Wh runs a full-size fridge (~150W) for roughly 6–7 hours, a chest freezer overnight, or a space heater (~1500W at 2000W surge) for under an hour — space heaters are battery-killers on any station. Pair it with yesterday's 60W foldable panel (or your own panels) and it refills during the day. Use our winter outage sizing guide to check your own loads before you buy anything — from us or anyone.

Setting it up? Our new hybrid home backup guide walks through pairing a station with a gas generator for multi-day outages.

The deal

We normally run a 15%-off Deal of the Day code, which would bring this to $339.99. Today's code (DEAL-1007) ran into a technical snag in our promotions dashboard, so there is no active deal code today — the deal price activates as soon as the code goes live. The everyday price of $399.99 stands, and free shipping plus our 30-day returns apply either way.

Meanwhile, our standing codes INSTA20 (20% off) and WELCOME10 (10% off) are both live at checkout — use them today for a price the Prime "deals" can't touch.

Honest specs note: only the specs printed on the listing are stated here — 1000W continuous / 2000W peak, 1024Wh LiFePO4, solar rechargeable. No runtime guarantees beyond the watt-hour math above, which you can verify with a calculator.
